About
Midwest roots. Dozens of passport stamps. One Los Angeles stage at a time.

Indiana Bradley is a Los Angeles singer, songwriter and musician who blends driving post-punk intensity with threads of Americana, rock and new wave. Rhythmic urgency, gritty storytelling and a crooning baritone put the sound between dark post-punk revival and rootsy, atmospheric rock.
He grew up in the Midwest, then lived and traveled through dozens of countries as a journalist, from Argentina to Indonesia. Those years shaped the songs: narrative vignettes about isolation, urban grit, wanderlust and personal reinvention, told by someone who has seen a lot of the world up close.
Since landing in Los Angeles, he has played clubs from Silver Lake to the Sunset Strip and toured Belo Horizonte, Brazil, twice. The sound is post-punk with an Americana spine. His baritone draws comparisons to Johnny Cash and Nick Cave, and the faster songs hit somewhere between Joy Division and Fugazi.
The catalog runs from the debut LP Ghost Star through two live albums, the Pale City EP produced by AFI’s Hunter Burgan (who also contributed artwork for singles such as “Rats on Cocaine”), and Canticles of Los Angeles, produced by Seth Olansky. Burgan hosts Indiana’s EP and singles at hunterburgan.com/music.
